CROW/SEE YOU IN HELL split EP
What a fucking pairing of two ultra furious hardcore bands. Toykos hardcore veterans CROW need no introduction and play fucking flawless dark hardcore crust in the same style as their classic „Bloody Tear“ LP and more recent „Flock Of Beast“ 7“. Two songs of blasting raw metallic crust with gravelled screaming vocals. Fucking killer stuff. SEE YOU IN HELL play equally fucking raging hardcore that totally surpasses any of their previous releases. Two songs of fast „Burning Spirits“ influenced hardcore thrash with awesome guitar riffs and leads, gang choruses and intense pissed off burly vocals. Comes packaged in a special fold out sleeve with some cool artwork by Czech comic artist Milan Sodoma. Co-released by Insane Society Records and Phobia Records.

CROW/SEE YOU IN HELL split EP
CROW, the man, has been incredibly prolific these days. New band KAIBOUSHITSU, a fairly new record for his psychedelic band DEATH COMES ALONG, and a handful of new CROW (the band) records! This release seemed to slip under the radar. One day I hear about it and a few days later I have it in my paws. CROW (the band) hails from Osaka, Japan, and while they began playing thrash that was recorded in a disctinctly lo-fi method, they have since become more metallic in their riffs and recording methods. The two tracks here are very similar to the records released by Prank within the past few years. For SEE YOU IN HELL, while, I’ve seen the name for years, this was the first I’d heard them. Holy. Fucking. Hell. Awesome and tight straightforward hardcore, with great guitar riffs and leads - will definitely check out their records next time I see them. To top it all, incredibly cool packaging: fold-out cover, great artwork, just wow... mandatory purchase here, folks!

CROW/SEE YOU IN HELL split EP
Wow this record should be labelled with a danger symbol. CROW and SEE YOU IN HELL come together for one hell of a raging 7“. The split with these two bands is pretty natural and seamless. Neither band needs any introduction. CROW has been hammering out their refined Japacore sounds since the mid 80s. Yes their sound has become a bit more refined and haunting and not nearly as DISCHARGE influenced as back in the day. And that isnt necessarily a bad thing. They have managed to keep their newer crust sound exciting and captivating. SEE YOU IN HELL is celebrating their 10 years anniversary and have also refined their sound over the years. The band is highly influenced by Japanese hardcore and lives and breathes every chord they play. The music is raw and ferocious and sounds like it is being played through some damaged amps. The overblown production adds to the bands thrashing madness. I am certain this is SEE YOU IN HELLs best material to date. This is a raging 7”. (CC, Equalizing Distort zine Vol. 10 issue 1)
